Why can’t I use the newest version? I get an error (mfc140u.dll). Only version 7.6 works on my computer. My computer specs: Windows 11 Pro, x64 processor, AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650U with Radeon Graphics (2.10 GHz), 16 GB RAM. What could be the problem?

Looking up the error for mfc140u.dll, it looks like it is an issue with the Microsoft Visual C++ residistributable library
You might want to reinstall the Visual C++ library that is linked from the download page.
