Why doesn't 6mm Solarban 70XL on clear exist in the glass library?

Solarban 70XL is in the IGDB, from version 15.0 (so it has been there many years). Here is a screen shot from the WINDOW glass library showing the records available.

The  only SB70XL in the IGDB in 6mm and thicker is on Starfire, not clear glass see ID 5439. I’m guessing that it is not produced on clear but PPG would have to explain that.

Robin,

Would you recommend using 6mm Solarban 70XL Starphire since 6mm Solarban 70XL on Clear does not exist?

You could use Optics to put the Solarban 70XL coating on a 6 mm clear substrate, and then import that into the WINDOW Glass Library. Starphire is a low-iron glass, which will have somewhat different properties than a standard clear glass.
