Hello! I'm writing to get some feedback on whether the scenario described below for the Glazing Options feature is an expected behavior or a bug:
When I set my boundary conditions on the base file, add glazing options, and use the Glazing Options dialog to simulate and have THERM auto-generate the glazing option files (e.g. "Head_opt100.thm" ... "Head_opt300.thm", etc.), the boundary conditions with 'Edge' tags seem to randomly assume the identity of their nearest, neighboring condition with an 'Edge' tag so that they become uniform in both condition and tag.
For example, in this file, I have the Edge set to two different boundary conditions: blue = 'Reduced Rad' and orange = 'Indoor'.
However, in my auto-generated .thm files, they now have the Edge BCs set to either all 'Indoor' or all 'Reduced Rad', but with the 'Edge' tags correctly intact.
This behavior prevents me from allowing THERM run the simulations on my behalf since I have to open each file, adjust the BCs, and then Calc>Save the file.
Thank you for any feedback you can share!
Best regards,
Michael Franco
