Hello!

I am running THERM 8.0.12.0 and I am trying to model a two-pane system. Currently, I am opening the sample-sill.THM file in the library, deleting the glazing system/spacer, and then evening out the frame cavity so it is just a horizontal line. At this point, I go to libraries to add the glazing system, but whenever I try to add the system, I do not have the option to add a spacer (photo of screen below). Please let me know if there is a way to add a spacer since I am unable to run calculations without one. Thank you!

Hi Kalena,
As I understood you want to use the spacer part from the library file for the imported glass unit from Window?

There is not an "inset spacer" function in THERM unless you just want the program to put a block of a certain material.

If you want to model the actual space, you need to draw it just like the rest of the model.

If you have a spacer from another file you could copy and paste it into your new file but presumably you would need to adjust some of the polygons to make it fit in the glazing system.
