You have the interior boundary conditions Raditiation model set to "Manual Enclosure Model".

You should set it to "Automatic Enclosure Model".

If you do that, the model will run, although it appears that there are gaps in the mesh

Hi,

I have a similar problem with my model. It creates the mesh but when I try to calculate I get Radiation encosure input data error in ConRad. I would appraciate some pointers

The file you attached is not a THERM file -- it is a TMP file, which THERM can't open.

Did you check your boundary conditions to make sure that you don't have the Raditiation model set to "Manual Enclosure Model" ?

Also, what version of THERM are you running?

Hi Robin,

I use the 8.1 version. I did check the automatic enclosure set up.

Looking at this file and trying to simulate it, I would suggest modeling it in the latest version of THERM 7.8, not THERM 8.1

THERM 8.1 is still in beta and it seems that there are issues modeling your problem in that version.
