Is the rectangle a polyline or four single lines? Did you explode the rectangle?

Hi Lucia.
In my personal experience to better import geometry using underlay/dxf, the file should be saved in a "primitive" .dxf 10 o 12 version (that stands for AutocAD rel.10 0 .12), and to take maximum advantage of the "AutoConvert" function, every polygon should be a closed polyline and the whole model should be drawn near the UCS World origin.
