Dear Therm team,

I have a problem with the installation of Therm 7.8 because I don't find the library at the link:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/tool/redistributable-libraries-for-c-and-fortran-2019-compilers-for-windows.html

 Can you provide any suggestions?

Thank you

Lorenzo

Yes, the link that is currently on our web page is broken, sadly.

Here is a new link to the Intel Fortran Compiler Runtime libraries for Windows.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/tool/compilers-redistributable-libraries-by-version.html

Our developers say that a newer library should work, and they have tested this one, circled in the screenshot below:

2023.1.0 / 2021.0.9

Please try that one, and let me know one way or another whether it works or not. We haven't had time to test on a clean computer yet, but hopefully will in the next day or so.

But this one should work, as it has been tested by our developers.

I have just updated the Redistributable Libraries web page with this new link and information. It may take a bit of time for the web page to show the new information but it should show up in an hour or so.

And I just tested installing that more recent library set, with my existing WINDOW installation, and WINDOW runs fine with the new libraries.

So I think we are good, at least for now !!

Please let me know if you have any issues with this new library.

And, as always, profuse apologies for the hassle of having to install these extra libraries. It is a license issue -- we can't include them in our installation because their licenses are not compatible with LBNL policies.
