After installing Therm and Windows with admin rights. If the following error occurs when starting the programs with user rights.
Unfortunately there is no hint for this error in the knowledgebase.

Installation as Admin -> no error
Running the Programs as Admin -> no error
Running the Programs as User (non-Admin) -> error

With the older versions this was no problem.
I have to install the software by distribution on more than 50 PCs where the users have no admin rights.

When you are talking versions, what is the "older version", and what version are you now running?

The older versions are 6.3The current is 7.7.1.0

Run the following in the command prompt. If you are not using a 64bit OS omit the WOW6432Node bit
reg export HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\LBNL lbnl.reg
Then email the resulting lbnl.reg file, probably zipped is best

Problem solved. The user only needs full access (permissions) to the registry path under HKLM\Software\WOW6432Node\LBNL.
