Hello, as I put in the title I would like to know how many polygons there are in my mesh, to be able to compare when I modify the quad tree mesh and the max. percent error.

Thank you :-)

You can get a visual sense of the number of polygons by looking at the Finite Element Mesh results. You can see where the program decided to do a finer mesh due to the materials and geometry. You will see the difference in the mesh when you change the mesh parameter values.

Another option is to go to Options->Simulation and check these two options:

SimulationOptions.PNG
Then when you run simulation, program will create output file (*.o extension) in the same folder where THM file is. On the top of the file you will find info:
                      *** c o n t r o l   d a t a ***

 control card 1
     number of materials                              =   13
     number of nodes                                  =  835
     number of elements                               =  879

Number of elements is what you need to know.

Regards,
Simon
