Is there a way to change the color of a frit to grey in Window or Optics?

The color of a layer in WINDOW or Optics is determined by the spectral data, so without new spectral data, you can't change the color.

In terms of modeling frits, both software are quite limited, due to the lack of good measurement methods for frits, which LBNL is working on. 

So for now, the only frits that are available in the software are the generic clear and white frits in WINDOW. You can change the % frit on those layers, but you cannot change their substrates.
