Hi everyone,
Just a reminder that tomorrow evening is our annual Ride of Silence.
This ride is always an important evening for our cycling community — not only from an advocacy standpoint, but as a reminder that every cyclist on the road is someone’s friend, family member, teammate, or riding partner.
This year especially, we ride in memory of our friends Patrick Franklin and Craig Prather.
Your support and attendance matter. The more riders we have present, the louder the message becomes: cyclists deserve to make it home safely.
Schedule for the evening:
• Arrive at Robarts Arena around 6:30 PM
• Speech & poem begin at 6:45 PM
• Directions & bagpipes immediately afterward
• Rolling promptly at 7:00 PM
Reminder that this is a slow paced ride ~7 mile ride, everyone is welcome to attend and we will have Sarasota PD escorts at the front, middle and end of the group.
We will gather afterward at Fresh Mozzarella Pizza for food and fellowship at 2289 Ringling Blvd, Sarasota, FL.
For anyone wanting a few extra miles before the event, Antonio will roll out at 5:45 PM for a ride down the Legacy Trail and will return to the parking lot in time for the Ride of Silence.
Thank you all for showing up, supporting one another, and helping continue the conversation around cycling safety and awareness.

In the event of rain, we will gather in the parking lot for fellowship, speeches and the poem. The bagpipes will play and we will go to the restaurant.
