Howdy everyone!

We are excited to let you all know that we are nearing Summer League season for 2024.  We are in the works on finalizing details and registration forms for this year's league.  While this is in the works here are some key pieces of information this year's Summer League.

Dates: Tuesday June 4th through Thursday August 15th
Times: 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Location: Veterans Freedom Park

We are currently looking players that would be interested in being a commissioner for this year's league.  No previous commissioning experience necessary, we are happy to work alongside you as you learn the role.  We would like to have two commissioners to help share responsibilities.

Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to: field setup and take down each night, determining team captains and drafting teams, adjusting teams if there are attendance issues for teams, being available to discuss questions and concerns for players and captains.  Please contact CURDS if you'd like to commission this summer or if you'd like a list of responsibilities for this position.

There have been a few change of faces and positions on the Board in 2024.

Please welcome Brandon Gaethke and Chris Rogers.  Both Brandon and Chris have played during their college years and have continued to be part of the ultimate community.

Brandon is an assistant coach for UW-La Crosse men's team along with playing with the CURDS community for the past 8 years.  Chris has been playing with the CURDS community for the past 10 years along with Winona pick-up Ultimate.  Both are exciting additions to the Board for their new perspectives and skill sets.

We said goodbye to Chris Ries and Diana Springer-Doescher as their terms came to completion at the end of 2023.  We thank them both for their time, work, and dedication to help provide opportunities for all of us to play ultimate frisbee over the past 3 years.

Kate Abbott, Skylar Stalsberg, and Drew Doescher continue their terms with the Board.

If you have any questions, ideas, or concerns, feel free to reach out to any of the Board, we are here to serve and help the community.

Thank you very much for your time and we are excited to get you more information for Summer League 2024 in the following week.
