Pick Up Ultimate Frisbee This Afternoon

Morning all,

It is a wonderful day for some pick up ultimate.  We are meeting at 1 PM - 4 PM at Veterans Freedom Park.  This is also known as West Copeland Park by some, we will be on the fields by the tank.  Here are the details for pick up today.

Please bring a white and non grey or yellow dark shirt to help identify teams.  Running shoes or cleats, no metal cleats will be allowed.  Plenty of water, no current access to water on site.  Most importantly, the desire to have some fun today!

We'll pick teams and play for a while, making adjustments as needed.  Plenty of water breaks will be taken, a perfect way to catch up with friends and make new ones.  Once we've play for awhile, we'll take a short break and decide a point value to play to.  We'll play a game to the decided point value and that will conclude our time for the day.  We will do our best to have people packed up and able to leave by 4 PM, we understand that time is valuable.

If you can't make it for the entire time, that is not a problem.  We'd love you to come out for even a short time.  Come at the start and leave early, come midway and stary for the rest of the time, that makes no difference to us.  If we do not have large enough numbers for games, we will do our best to post that pick up is done and for those that cannot make it at the start to hopefully not drive to an empty field.
