Yes, the Mutts Shall Strut!
Join us, Friday, June 15, for an evening of fun activities for the kids, plus food, drinks, and live music! Featuring the Mutt 'n Strut benefit dog walk, this summer's fundraiser for the Lawrence Humane Society takes place at Barkarusafest in the parking lot outside Pawsh Wash, at the southeast corner of Bob Billings Parkway (15th St.) and Wakarusa.map
With bands, BBQ, beer, and a bouncy house (and more) for the kids, this will be a wonderful way to spend a nice summer evening with the whole family (furry kids included!), plus you'll be helping the shelter animals at the same time.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for Barkarusafest.
Mutt 'n Strut dog walk begins at 6:30 p.m.

Register yourself and your canine companion in advance for only $20. With your paid admission, you'll receive this limited-edition T-shirt designed by local artists! Admission on June 15 is $25 per person at the gate, but t-shirts are only available while supplies last. Make sure you get yours before they're gone. Register in advance at the Lawrence Humane Society animal shelter, 1805 E. 19th, during business hours or online at www.lawrencehumane.org.
Please note: all Mutt 'n Strut participants must register and sign a waiver form that includes confirmation of their pet's current rabies vaccination status. More details on the main event page.
