It's Almost Here: The 2011 Pawsible Dream Benefit Auction!
Our largest fundraising event of the year is this Friday, and we hope you'll join us for a fun evening as we celebrate "Mardi Paws" with food, drink, music, and lively bidding. New this year is the "French Quarter." Normally, all Silent Auction categories will have closed well before the Live Auction begins. But this special table of select items will remain open in the French Quarter for silent bids until the end of the night. Here you'll find a four-night stay in Branson, Mo., a basketball signed by the 2002-2003 KU men's basketball team featuring Kirk Hinrich and Nick Collison, a signed Rolling Stones guitar, and more. Wow!
Also for the first time, each paid admission receives a free raffle ticket for a chance to win tickets to the Kansas vs. Oklahoma State men's basketball game on February. 11. You can purchase additional tickets, too, with the raffle to be held at the conclusion of the Live Auction.

- Baseball Autographed by Satchel Paige
Leroy Robert "Satchel" Paige was an American baseball player whose pitching in the Negro Leagues and in Major League Baseball made him a legend in his own lifetime. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1971, the first player to be inducted from the Negro Leagues. This autographed baseball, complete with certificate of authenticity, would make a great addition to the baseball aficionado's collection.
- KU vs. OU Coin Flip Package
Has your child ever wanted to be on the field for the coin flip at the start of a Jayhawks game? Well, now is your chance! The winner of this package receives four tickets to the Kansas vs. Oklahoma football game October 15, pre-game meal, and tour of Rock Chalk Video. In addition, one child 6 to 14 years of age (per NCAA rules) gets a KU jersey, the chance to meet the refs and captains, and watch the coin toss at mid-field prior to kick-off!
