Hey guys;

For those of you who don't know me, I'm the founder of Lawrence
Programmers and the (in?)famous LPDN's that happen around town on
Tuesday nights. I'm planning a show and tell at the public library in
May and I'd like to get some feedback on what day/time works for you
guys? The plan is simple, get the room for a few hours and everybody
that wants to can get up with the projector and demo something cool
they've been working on / playing with.

It's been a long time since we've done one of these, but the last time
we had:
* demo of some testing harnesses that could record tests
* how to serve up pages in django using time-based templates (not
just AM/PM, but also keeping the original templates from when
something was posted)
* an xmpp bot framework (that I still haven't released!)

At any rate, is this something guys would be interested in doing?
Please let me know what works for you guys. I'm going to try to stop
by for a bit before I head over to LPDN tonight.

I like the idea of seeing other people's work so I can steal it, I
mean, to learn. There's a chance I could get away for an hour or two
during the weekday.

My schedule is pretty crazy, so whatever you go with I'll just have to
see if I can make it or not.

I stopped by the library and for the normal Tuesday night, May is
out. There are a few Wednesday nights available, but if we move it to
Saturday, things get a lot more open. Does anyone have thoughts on
doing a weekend LPN meeting?

Was there any more discussion on this event? I think from talking in
person, we discussed that the weekend of May 16 could work. Any more
on this?
