Hey all,

First of all, sorry if I am flooding your inboxes with too many questions! I am just really excited to join you all this year and get everything going, I know very little about how you have been doing things, and want to communicate that best that I can, so please bear with me. :)

A dear friend, Shannon Criss, has offered the use of her time and her truck this week to haul city compost to the garden.  We will be out there Thursday morning and Saturday morning around 8:30, in case any of you want to drop by to help or just say hi!  To me, it seems like the best and easiest way to unload the compost from the truck will be to make a pile near the entry way to the alley.  Michael mentioned that you get compost from the city every year. Where have you folks been unloading it? I don't want to make a pile that is in the way or in an inappropriate spot, but I don't know anywhere else that is quite as easy for a truck to access. Please let me know any thoughts or comments about this, as I really want to help but have no clue about these things. I guess if nothing else, I can always move the pile to a more appropriate spot after it is dropped off.

Unless I hear otherwise, I'll probably make a compost pile to the left of that opening to the alley way.  If this is bothersome to anyone, just let me know, and I will gladly move it somewhere else!

Thank you!

Cheers,
Becky
