Bale of hay

[KU Student Farm]

Hey everyone,

I went and picked up and delivered a round bale of hay to the garden today!  We dropped it off by the north entrance of the garden where the compost is.  It rolled a little and kind of in the pathway.  As it is an extraordinarily heavy bale, there was nothing I could do.  I will try to rally folks to help roll it out of the way on Thursday night at the workday, and if any of you could come, that would be great!  I bought the bale of hay for $35, which seems like the going rate for them around here.  If you find yourself using the hay, if you could donate some money to the hay fund that would really help me out!  I will write "garden fund" on a jar or something and leave it in the shed!
