Hi, I am new to the LAWCHA. It may be too late to try to join a panel, but I would like to know if the association accepts papers on individual workers who were not members of labor unions or did traditional labor activism? I am working on a new oral history project of one of the first black women workers to integrate the Dunlop Golf Ball Factory in South Carolina in the late 1960s. I would love to join a panel, but if that is not possible, I will submit an individual paper.

Sincerely,

Maybe a stretch but our panel is looking for a commentator on Corporate Accountability, Labor Rights and Solidarity and we discuss garment industry in global south.  I wonder if your research can serve as a commentator there? Just a thought.  I too am new LAWCHA
