to LAWCHA 2019: Forum to find co-panelists

I am hoping to put together a panel on worker migration and mobility/immobility within the South in the late 19th or early 20th century.  My paper will be on African American rural industrial migration within the South through the lens of migration to the Missouri Delta and the court testimony of workers in a 1906 peonage case.  Another panelist will present on the migrant roots of rural labor organizing (the Progressive Farmers and Householders Union and Southern Tenant Farmers' Union) in the western South, particularly Arkansas.

While these papers focus on rural migration and the South, we can re-frame the panel if someone has a topic connected to worker migration and mobility.

Thanks,

Heidi Dodson
