It is that time again when we show the entire campus that we are not just a group of book worms and people whose only talent is to win an argument. Yes it is almost time for the best week that this campus will ever see. That's right I'm talking about Law week 2011!!! This is one of the most hyped weeks on campus and in the faculty and one of the most enjoyed and talked about events we have during Law Week is always the Sports Day. It is the time when we as law students can show our competitive spirits and 'battle' outside of the confines of the law faculty.
In order to for such a day to occur each member of the faculty has been placed in separate houses, Privy Council, House of Lords, Caribbean Court of Justice, and International Court of Justice. Just to note last year Caribbean Court of Justice won the sports day and I am sure that both the law students who were here before in the other houses and the new students to CAVE HILL would earnestly want to defeat them this year and have bragging rights for a year.
Only the new students to CAVE HILL have been randomly placed in house other than that everyone else would be in the same house they were in from last year. Attached is the housing list for Sports Day 2011. At the bottom of spreadsheet you would see the initials PC, CCJ, HOL and ICJ. To find out what house you are in just left click on the different tabs and scroll till you see your name. If you do not see your name respond to this email with your full name and it will be added.(only after looking carefully)
As your Sports Chairperson I am looking forward to a bigger and better sports day and even a better Law week.
Regards,
Benjamin Hood.
