The re: line should read 2011, my apologies.

L. Jane McMillan

Hello Everyone,

I would like to submit a paper for LSA and wonder if anyone is interested in forming a panel.

A possible title and a starting point for an abstract for a panel is:

Narratives of (Il)legality in Liminal Indigenous Locations

This panels examines the liminality of sovereignty, reconciliation, rights and regulation through analyses of various narratives of the reach, relevance and limitations of law within the contexts of Indigenous legal scholarship.

If anyone has an interest, please let me know and I will make a submission.

All the best,

Jane

Dear Jane,
Thanks for sending this suggestion out. I'm interested in this panel
idea, although I'm trying to think of ways that my work might fit
within notions of illegality and liminality.
What do you have in mind for your paper?
Hope you are well,
best,
Carole
