Dear academic and industrial colleagues, dear friends,

 

On March 2016, the first Laval Virtual Seminar (LVS) and the new “collaborative” Virtual Reality International Conference (VRIC) workshops provided an awesome result in the form of a compelling vision for the future of immersive technologies (VR, AR, MR).

This “Laval Virtual Vision 2025”* was co-created by LVS visionaries and a wider contribution of about 150 VR & AR experts gathered in Laval (maybe you were among them!). 

We deliver today this 2016 edition of the “Laval Virtual Vision 2025” for free!

We’ll go further during the 19^th VRIC Conference that will be held during Laval Virtual 2017 from 22 to 24 March 2017. 

We will imagine and launch together projects that will change our lives. ACM VRIC 2017 will gather about 170 specialists (and no more), both researchers and practitioners, in immersive technologies (Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality), information system, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, science and industry, to co-create a roadmap towards the future uses of these new technologies.

You can also submit a paper (short paper or poster paper, before January 6^th) as an opportunity to present your work to the audience and contribute to the vision edition 2017. Your paper will be published in the online ACM Digital Library and eventually proposed to our associated journals, IJVR & JVRB (Read “Call for Paper” here) for an extended version.
