I’m very pleased to join the lavaan discussion group. I’ve been working with structural equation modeling and latent variable approaches for a while, and lavaan has become one of my primary tools for this work. I really appreciate how accessible yet powerful it is for specifying and estimating a wide range of models.

My interests include confirmatory factor analysis, measurement invariance, and more complex SEM applications, and I’m particularly interested in best practices for model evaluation and reporting. I’m hoping to both learn from the expertise in this group and, where I can, contribute to discussions by sharing code snippets, troubleshooting ideas, and practical experiences.
