Hello LAVAAN members

Enhance your research capabilities by mastering advanced latent variable modeling techniques in R. From CFA to SEM with Moderated Mediation in R led by Michael Zyphur (University of Queensland and Instats) is now available as an on-demand streaming seminar. This seminar provides a comprehensive introduction to the Lavaan latent variable modeling framework in R, covering basic to advanced confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) methods, including bi-factor and hierarchical models. Participants will gain practical skills in structural equation modeling (SEM) with latent variables, indirect effects, latent interaction effects, and moderated mediation, all within the Lavaan framework. These techniques, combined with hands-on exercises using real data and instruction on bootstrapping and interaction plotting, will enable researchers to conduct sophisticated analyses and enhance their own research output using R.

Access this seminar at your own pace and please share this with colleagues and students who might benefit!

Best wishes

Dear Professor Zyphur,

many thanks for sharing the course! Does this seminar include estimation of cross-level moderations and random slopes? Last time I checked, they were not implemented in lavaan yet.

Kind regards,
