Is there a way to fit an LPA with distal outcomes with lavaan or a package from the lavaan family?

with lavaan no. But I am working with the developer of the tidySEM package. This one has functions to write lavaan syntax for mixture models, like LPA

You can write the suntax in lavaan syntax, and the mixture model is run in OpenMx

We will write a more detail vignette tutorial for it later
