Exploratory CFA (ECFA) or exploratory SEM (ESEM)

Hi there,

I am planing to conduct a ECFA in Mplus, but would like to know whether in Lavaan it is also possible, and if yes what would be an appropriate syntaxis.

Hello Michael,

I asked Yves Rosseel about ESEM in April '15 and he responded:

"It is currently NOT possible. There are many, many future plans for lavaan, and ESEM is certainly on the list."
...
