Dear users of the lavaan discussion group:

As suggested by many of you, I enabled the 'tags' feature of this discussion group.
This means that each post needs to get at least on 'tag' (or keyword). This will (hopefully) create more structure to the
long list of messages.

How does it work: at the bottom of the text box, you can add (up to 14) tags/keywords.

Some suggestions are:

general multigroup multilevel categorical measurement invariance growth syntax error
warning non-convergence lavTestLRT documentation bug reproducibility  fit cfi rmsea
robust standard-errors test-statistics satorra-bentler missing

but you can add your own.

I consider this an experiment. If it turns out that this more annoying than helpful, I will shut it off again.

Yves.

I love the idea of tags, makes it easier for me to search past messages for links to share, instead of repeating myself :-)

But I don't see a textbox for tags when I am writing messages, and I can't find a way to turn it on, like this video shows:

Maybe I need to be an administrator to access those settings, but everyone should be able to add tags, right?

I noticed I can use tags when I post a new topic, just not when replying to someone else's post.

Yves,
I am sorry to bother you but I had a quick question about lavaan and I can't seem to get a post to work to the Google Group.  Do I need to be approved to join the group?

I am trying to do a modification so that a loading is multiplied by -1.  In the modifier section of your lavaan manual it doesn't show how to do that.  In MPlus you can just take your variable, like y2 and say "factor = y2*-1 + y3 + y4...".

Any help you can give would be terrific. I have been setting my analysis up in lavaan over the last week and also re-learning R in order to do it, so it's been great.

Thank you,
