What diagnostic regression tools can someone use to inspect the validity of regression results in lavaan?

Such as Vif, and Watson's statistics?

Diagnostic plots ?

What diagnostic regression tools can someone use to inspect the validity of regression results in lavaan?

None, because lavaan is an SEM package. If you are running a path analysis with observed variables, you can run a separate regression for each outcome using the lm() function, and use the many tools for regression diagnostics that are available for OLS regression models. The MASS and car packages are particularly useful.
