Hello,
I'm new to lavaan and I'm looking for a SEM package/software that can handle binomial count predictor variables (not outcome variables)? Is this possible in lavaan?
Thank you for your help,
Lauren

If it is an exogenous predictor, then there is no need to make any distributional assumption about it. You can just model its linear effect by including it in the model and setting fixed.x=TRUE (already the default)
