Dear all,
I am with lavaan and trying to conduct a multiple group CFA for two groups, and I was wondering how can I set some modification to only one group, in Mplus there is an option to specify modiciations to each group, for example

Variable:  names are
x1 x2 x3 x4 x5 x6
x7 x8 x9 x10
x11 x12 x13 x14;

fac1 by x1 x2 x3 x4 x5 x6 ;
fac2 by x7 x8 x9 x10;
fac3 by x11 x12 x13 x14;

[invol@0 cur@0 chal@0];

Model 1:
x2 with x7;

Model 2:
x1 with  x2;

but I couldn't figure how to do it in Lavaan. Thanks for your help

The lavaan project site tutorial covers this. To allow residual covariance of x1 and x7 in group 1 but not group 2--
x1 ~~c(NA,0)*x7
