Hi everyone,

I apologize for any cross-posting. Note these workshops are for relative beginners. One is Mplus only, the other focuses on Mplus and Lavaan.

I’m reaching out to share the 2026 workshop schedule for Applied Analyses for Behavioral Research. I am offering two live, online sessions this June focused on applied latent variable methods. As someone with extensive experience teaching advanced quantitative courses, I have designed these workshops to be both rigorous and highly accessible.

If you have any graduate students, faculty, or colleagues who may be interested, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share this information with them.

Here are the details for the upcoming sessions:

Growth Curve Models for Beginners

Dates: June 2, 3, & 4, 2026 (9:30 am – 3:30 pm EST) This session introduces longitudinal modeling for studying change over time, explicitly comparing Multilevel Modeling (MLM) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) frameworks.

  • Key Topics: Linear/nonlinear growth, time coding, and predictors of change

  • Implementation: Examples provided in lavaan (R) and Mplus.

Latent Class Analysis (LCA) & Latent Profile Analysis (LPA)

Dates: June 24, 25, & 26, 2026 (9:30 am – 3:30 pm EST)  An applied introduction to mixture modeling for identifying unobserved subgroups in data.

  • Key Topics: Model estimation, class enumeration, and predictors and distal outcomes using the BCH method.

  • Implementation: Detailed instruction using Mplus.

Why join these workshops?

  • User-Friendly Resources: I provide all syntax and data files to ensure you can replicate the models immediately.

  • Recorded Sessions: All sessions are recorded and shared via a dedicated folder for your permanent reference.

  • Interactive Learning: I prioritize a "hands-on" approach with plenty of time built-in for Q&A to address your specific research hurdles.

  • 2026 Pricing: $625 for Faculty/Professionals and $550 for Graduate Students. Register for both and save $50.

Full syllabi and registration details are available at: www.appliedanalyses.com.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the curriculum or software requirements. Thank you for your time and for helping me spread the word!

Best,

Andy Supple Applied Analyses for Behavioral Research
