AS A REMINDER: if you have a premium phone number, such as a Canadian phone number or vanity number, you will need to login to your magicJack account to renew that phone number separately.
Auto-Renew is a service that will automatically renew your selected subscription(s) at the end of their subscription term using an active credit card on file. You will receive email notification 30 days prior to the subscription renewal as a reminder of the date of the renewal and providing the current rate for the renewal. You will receive a confirmation email once the renewal has been successfully processed.
This service requires an active valid credit card on file at the time of the renewal. If the payment method fails, the service will be disconnected. To opt out of auto-renew you must call Customer Care at 1-844-866-2442 within the US or Canada or 1-561-594-9925 Outside the US or Canada.
To enroll in auto-renew, login to your account at my.magicJack.com. Select the Account Tab then AutoRenew. Turn on auto renew for the subscriptions you wish to have automatically renewed each year. If you do not have an active credit card on file, you will be required to update the billing information.
Successfully processed renewals should show on your account screen immediately. If the transaction did not successfully complete, call Customer Care at 1-844-866-2442 within the US or Canada or 1-561-594-9925 Outside the US or Canada.
Your subscription renewal dates can be found by logging into your account at my.magicJack.com. On the account screen, you will see both Number Status (for number subscriptions) and Device Status (for service subscriptions). Each will indicate the expiration date.
For a subscription that has auto renew enabled, the toggle will be Blue and state ON. To turn off - select the toggle Turn off. Review the disclaimer, if you agree, check the checkbox and select Agree and Disable Auto-Renew. If you wish to continue with auto renew, simply select 'Continue on Auto-Renew'.
If you have a US Free Phone Number, it automatically renews along with the magicJack Device subscription. If you have a Premium Phone number subscription such as Custom, Vanity or Canadian Phone Number, it is different from Device subscription and needs to be renewed separately.
THE APP DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY EMERGENCY CALLING OR TEXTING CAPABILITY. You are responsible for obtaining or accessing third party products and services required to use the Services (such as a compatible smart phone or tablet and high-speed internet access) and for paying any fees for such third-party products and services.
Calling and Texting Restrictions. Calling to numbers within the United States and Canada, and texting and other services provided by magicJack, are based on normal, non-excessive use. If we become aware of unreasonably excessive use of the Services, including but not limited to, usage that is extraordinarily greater than the average customer usage, or calling more than 50 different telephone numbers per day, or forwarding calls from your App for longer than a two week consecutive period, or systematic or intentional misuse, we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate your use of the App and Service immediately, and you will not be entitled to get a refund of Fees you may have paid to us. Calling does not include calls to Alaska or the Yukon and Northwest Territories of Canada or calls to non-8YY calling card, platform, conference or chat lines, for which additional fees will apply. Porting an existing phone number is subject to an additional fee, and may not be available for all numbers. Annual and monthly fees quoted do not include initial purchase of magicjack device or devices (which includes 1 year of service) or shipping, administration and regulatory fees and taxes as applicable. magicJack is not a substitute for traditional landline service. Sales and applicable taxes are assessed on orders for taxable items originating from the states where the company has a tax obligation. Taxable items include, but are not limited to, magicJack devices, renewals, phone number-related fees, etc. Applicable Taxes will appear as a separate line item on your order summary.
Note: The USF charge applies to your purchase of prepaid credits, even if you do not live in the United States. As the carrier providing services for prepaid calling, we are obligated to bill the USF fee on all prepaid credit sales.
Upon registration of your device, as well as annually, we will send you an Emergency (E) 911 service invoice and ask that you click a link to submit payment. All funds collected for E911 will be remitted to the appropriate jurisdictions. Read more here.

Items are typically processed for shipment within one business day. Once shipped, delivery can be expected within 3-10 days. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee actual UPS delivery times. Please allow additional time for Canadian deliveries.
Your magicJack device is warranted against component defects for one year after purchase. Should you experience a technical problem with your device during the warranty period, and we determine you need a replacement, you can request a replacement device free of charge.
The defective Device must be received by magicJack within fifteen (15) days of your receipt of your replacement Device or your credit card on file will be charged the full price of the replacement device (MSRP $26.95) plus associated taxes, shipping and handling.
For devices outside of the one-year warranty, but still under an active license period, the cost of a replacement device is $26.95 plus $7.95 shipping and admin fees, when shipped to a valid U.S. address. For Canadian addresses, an additional $3.00 shipping fee will be assessed, plus the aforementioned admin fees.
When you receive your replacement device, plug it in to your computer and you will be prompted to select the device you wish to replace. Your remaining time and telephone number will automatically transfer.
When registering a new magicJack device, you will be presented with an option to upgrade an existing device, if you have access time remaining that exceeds the free time that comes with your new device.
I have a number with magicJack and I have had since 2005. I want to port this number out to a new carrier and magicjack has done the process long, tedious and impossible. I need my number back and whenever I call them they hang up on me, put me on hold for a long time and keep transferring me from one representative to another. Just an awful customer service.
