I am trying to log in to the TomTom My drive connect application but 1password does not recognize and can not use the TomTom password. From what I understand My Drive connect is a standalone program and not a web page. How do I get 1password to log into a program
I have ruled out: AV (removed) and Firewall (turned off).... the device is USB tethered.... the internet is a VM 200MB connection.... I have no other options to follow, so some assistance would be appreciated.

Try restarting your Mac in "Safe Mode" (read below) and determine if you can connect to the GPS while operating in that mode. Certain networking features do not work in Safe Mode so it might not help.
It has power and connects - the update actually fails........ please - i am not some dumb user! I work in IT and I can't get this working........ But Yes..... if these updates cannot get done then it may as well be!

My son is disabled and has a new job where he will need to drive back roads, not main routes. He drives a 2018 Honda Accord and I can't do a custom route with Google maps or Apple maps without waypoints on Carplay. If I purchase the TomTom Go app and install it on his iphone, can I then make a custom route on TomTom MyDrive (by dragging to make the route, not by setting waypoints), and then send it to his phone and connect to Apple CarPlay? Will the navigation be turn-by-turn with a voice directions? I'm 71 year old and all of this is new to me. Thank you.

After much frustration and hair pulling, I decided that since I could not find a version of MyDrive Connect that is listed with the Via 1605, that I would download a version of MyDrive for the Via that looked most like mine (Go to _gb/mydrive-con........ Scroll until you see Download for MAC or PC...Download and install) . Instant fix. Where it would absolutely not be recognized by the TomTom HOME app, it immediately recognized the device, even though it was listed as a program for other TomToms but not mine.
