Hello Class of 2021!
Your graduation is approaching! We will be keeping you informed throughout the process as we prepare for graduation.
First of all, we are starting to work on your virtual commencement ceremony. The grad photos are in, and the grad composite photo is being prepared. You will get your own copy of the grad composite and a large one will be hung in our hall of honour along with all the composites of previous years.
Second, we want to give you a heads-up that students who are graduating or leaving the OCDSB as of June 30th will no longer have access to their Google accounts in the OCDSB. The District will be sending you an official notice about this in the next week or so. In the meantime, we have a copy of the instructions for you to start transferring your documents from your current OCDSB account to a personal Gmail account. See this Google Doc which shows you how to Copy Documents and Emails to Personal Gmail Account. If you wish to transfer your data to a personal Gmail account it must be done before June 30, 2021. If you are returning as a student to an OCDSB School for Summer School or in September, your Google account will not be affected. Note: if you are planning to return next year but you have not chosen your courses, please contact your guidance counsellor immediately—christi...@ocdsb.ca for students A-L, and roberte...@ocdsb.ca for students M-Z.
Finally, we need to create a contact list for the Class of 2021 with your personal email address, home address, and personal phone number in case we need to communicate with you after June 30th since you will not have an OCDSB Gmail account after that date. Here is a Google Form for you to let us know your contact information. Please fill it out as soon as you can. We want to be able to stay in touch with you. Thank you very much.
