Good morning,

Please include the following 3 announcements from the Mental Health Champions in today's broadcast. Thank you!

Today’s theme for Mental Health Week is Celebration.

As we wrap up the week, take a moment to recognize the effort you’ve put in. Often, we focus so much on what we still have to do that we forget to look back at how far we’ve come.

Mental health isn’t just about navigating challenges; it’s also about noticing what is going well. Recognizing your own strengths and acknowledging your progress—no matter how small—helps build the confidence and resilience you need for the future.

Taking pride in your journey and supporting the community around you is a win in itself. By celebrating these moments, we strengthen our school culture and our own well-being.

And now, here's today Mental Health Question of the Day: (cut to video provided by Charlotte J)

To celebrate the end of the week, the Mental Health Champions are hosting a games event during lunch today in Rm. 110.  Please stop by, take a screen break, play some games and have some fun!  See you in Rm. 110 at lunch, Lancers!

Attention all students and staff seeking an opportunity to relax and de-stress!  We have just the event for you - Paint Night!  This fun-filled art event is taking place next week on Wednesday, May 13th from 3-5pm and will help lower your stress levels, Bob Ross-style. It's open to staff and students with both a guided painting activity and a self-guided option, meaning all levels of ability are welcome! To sign up, look for the posters around the school and scan the QR code. Students, this is a no-cost event!   Again, Paint Night is happening next week on Wednesday, May 13th from 3-5pm. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Rivers in room 149."
