Hello Lancer Students and Families,
Our annual SWL Sharing Is Caring Food Drive in support of our local Orleans-Cumberland Food Bank is underway. We are proud to be supporting families in our community for the fourth year in a row. Our fundraiser is from December 1st through to Monday, December 15th.
The Food Bank is anticipating 650+ families in our community will require assistance—up from the 550 families they helped last year. With our food drive, our contributions will help meet the needs of over 2000 individuals (50% will be children) who will turn to the Food Bank for support this December.
Some popular items to consider: peanut butter, flour/sugar, rice, canned stew, soda crackers/crackers, tomato/pasta sauce, pudding/fruit cups, baby food and soap/shampoo/toothpaste. We are accepting any and all non-perishable food donations. Food Bank List
Food donations can be placed in the POINSETTIA Donation Boxes located within the SWL Rotunda. Another option for offering support is by making a monetary donation using our 2025 Sharing is Caring link. Donations of $5, $10, $15 or $20 are appreciated and will be accepted until December 15th.
