The City of Ottawa is looking for volunteers to help supervise the warming hut at Marsha Park Rink. Volunteers will be asked to cover evening shifts or parts of weekends once the rink is open to the public. These volunteer positions are weather dependent. In previous seasons the rinks have been open from January to the beginning of March. On-site training will be provided.

Interested students may come to Guidance for more information.

Our local beer store on Tenth Line is looking for student volunteers to help with their Running On Empties Event on December 20. Volunteers will be encouraging patrons to donate their empty beer bottle returns to Christmas Exchange. Money raised by Running on Empties goes directly towards providing food and hope to those in a time of need during the holiday season.
