The Ontario Secondary E-Sports Association Provincial Rocket League Fall finals were held this Saturday. Sir Wil had all three of its teams qualify for the Platinum - Playoffs. 

Lancers 2 led by Aaran Silva worked well as a team and had some great goals by Nicholas Michon and assists by Nicholas Adornato, but finished in the 3rd round.

After a tough first game loss, Lancers 3 led by Joseph Kawecki dominated the lower bracket, knocking out multiple teams with some impressive goals by Keegan Youdell and Aidan Hannah. Despite being caught shorthanded in round 4 the team managed to secure a spot in the final/

Lancers 1 led by top goal scorer Sameer Mangal was dominant all day, sending every team they played down to the lower bracket of the double elimination tournament. With the help of teammates Miles Ledger, Hassan Abdul Adhim and Matthew Hansen-Engel the team secured a spot in the finals for all Sir Wil showdown vs. Lancers 3.

In the championship, Lancers 1 defended their title and won gold while Lancers 2 will be awarded silver medals. Coaches Mr. Budgell and Ms. Rivers couldn't be more proud of the sportsmanship and fair play all three teams displayed. Stay tuned for the Ontario Secondary Super Smash Bros league starting in November -we still have room for a few more players.
