Community Updates

1) Anti-Torture Protest on March 3, 2010 from 8am to 10am.
The Kitchener-Waterloo Anti-Torture Coalition (KWATC) will be ringing
in the return of Parliament with a protest outside of Peter Braid's
Office (22 King St., N corner of King and Erb) demanding a full
independent public inquiry into Canadian complicity in torture in
Afghanistan. We will be passing out flyers and sending out a press
release to get the media's attention to build more awareness in the
community. If you are against torture, against the continued
occupation in Afghanistan and Iraq (7 year disastrous anniversary)
come out and demand that the public know our government is committing
war crimes.

The KWATC will be following the protest up with a community event:

Afghanistan
