1) LSPIRG is Hiring!
LSPIRG has extended its application deadline until this Thursday,
March 11th, 2010 at noon.
The following positions are available for 2010- 2011
-Marketing & Communications Coordinator
-Volunteer Coordinator
-Training & Research Coordinator
If you are interested in any of these positions, please submit a cover
letter, your resume, a list of the positions you are interested in
(ranked in order of preference), and a list of any positions for which
you do not wish to be considered, to Ms. Humera Javed at

Start/End: Aug. 30th, 2010 - Apr. 22nd, 2011
Work Hours: 14 hours / week (Please note: First two weeks are 35
hours /week; the following weeks are 14 hours per week)

2) Conflict Mediation Workshop! (Our final CCI workshop!)
March 10th, 5:00-8:00pm
@ the CSL House (187 Albert st., just behind the Laurier Library)
Come out for an intensive introduction to conflict style and conflict
mediation! After a discussion of what different conflict styles exist
and how they interact, we will work through real community conflict
situations using drama techniques. Facilitator Kathleen Cleland Moyer
is extremely experienced in conflict mediation and restorative
justice. Light refreshments provided. All welcome!

1) What's In the Box? Getting To Know Pandora
An evening of community engagement of the arts
Tuesday ,March 9th 2010

@ The Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery 101 Queen Street North Located in
the Centre In The Square
On Tuesday March 9th join the Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery (KW|AG)
for an evening of art, conversation and community engagement. KW|AG,
in conjunction with WLU Women Studies students, will be hosting this
event in order to create dialogue surrounding the themes of the
current exhibit, Pandora's Box. All welcome!

2) Radical Bodies Week, March 8-13th, 2010
A week chock-full of opportunities to learn about, celebrate, and have
fun with bodies of all shapes and sizes! Full details are available at

Tuesday - Birth Control & Body Literacy Workshop
Thursday - LIVING LOUD (Body image peer support group)

Bodies: A Collection of Monologues, and the Radical Bodies Art
Exhibit.
Thursday & Friday at 8pm, Friday & Saturday at 3pm in the Turret

3) Shattering The Silver Screen presents... Horror Month!
Pretty Bloody: The Women of Horror - March 15 at 7pm in BA101
Jennifer's Body - March 24 at 7pm in BA102
On March 15, Professor Michele Kramer will lead discussion following a
screening of "Pretty Bloody: The Women of Horror", a Canadian
documentary about women’s contribution to the horror industry.
