This is very disappointing to read the messages like this again. We are lucky to have the bus that comes into our community and make it easy for our kids. Let's recall the days we had to go all the way to gate in hot, cold, and rainy days and struggle with parking. In spite of that, some of us are not following safety rules and causing the problems. Even after the last email we received we have seen some cars parked less than 5 ft from the stop sign and violating the rules. Hope that this will remind again us to follow the rules for the safety of our own kids.

Subject: Important Safety Around Children and Bus

Safety and consideration has become a large problem in our community in the mornings as children are being dripped off and walking to the bus stops. No matter what “SAFETY†is to be everyone’s first concern.

There is to be NO MORE honking, speeding, passing cars/bus or plain inconsiderate behaviors. The community is very lucky the bus comes into the community. Being a private community it doesn’t have to.

We might be forced towards either of the following steps if this does not improve:

1. If the driver at any times feels it has becomes unsafe or to difficult to navigate due to driving behaviors they can choose to stop coming into the community. This will mean you will have to have to take your children to the front of the community and have them wait outside the gate on the main road. I do not believe this is something anyone would want.

2. If the mornings do not get under control, dropping off by CAR at the bus stop will not longer be allowed and the children will then have to walk to the bus stop. Again, something we know we don’t want to happen. We can avoid any of these non-ideal solutions if we work together. Our first concern is the safety of these children. We have a wonderful community that should be working together during these congested crazy times.

When dropping your children please ask them to quickly and safely exit the car as to not hold up traffic any more than necessary. There is a map attached that is to be review and followed by everyone while dropping and picking up children from the bus stops, and any one traveling through the community at these times. I know we can work through the strategies of the buses to make the mornings less stressful and safer.

If you can not open this attachment please contact your community manager Becki at becki...@libertycm.com and she will immediately email it straight to you. As a community we thank you for your cooperation.
