Hi I'd like to add to this. I have the same issue with my nest doorbell. The settings to change the ringtones have disappeared from the device options in settings. I have a wired doorbell and it's 2 years old. Please help if you can!

When I go into my nest app, I cannot find any option to change my ringtone or theme for the doorbell. I have looked under Device Options in the settings of the camera from my nest app but there is literally no option to change the ringtone. See the screen shot below. Is my camera not capable of changing the ringtone?

Having just purchased the Ring Video doorbell 3 plus & ring chime we were looking forward to setting same up & choosing the ringtone. My sister in law choose the train whistle thinking the kids would like this however despite choosing & saving it appears to be stuck on the default ring. We are using the Ring app on iOS as apple tech, I understand this is currently a prob. Look forward to a poss fix in the future. Thanks, howietuba2

Every time I hook my phone up to my computer, my ringtone changes to the first song in my playlist instead of the mp3 I want. This is not exactly desirable. I think it has something to do with the "disabling"of the SD card while connected to the computer, but I don't know for sure. Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Sadly that didn't work. It randomly changes to either a song on my playlist or back to a system ringtone. I haven't been able to figure out if there's a pattern to it. I thought maybe if I moved the song I want from SD to phonememory, but I can't figure out how to do that, either. I was using a file browser and tried to copy but I didn't have writing permission so that didn't work.

Tucked away in a remote, volatile part of West Africa, Sierra Leone, Guinea-Bissau and Burkina Faso, three of the world's poorest countries, are in the throes of great upheaval. Globalization has shown their people that a more comfortable life is possible, but as they strive to attain it, climate change, the population boom, the tyrants of the old guard and the firm grip of tradition block their way. The clash between old and new is explosive: civil wars erupt without warning, with drugged up rebels fighting over blood diamonds, gold or a humble bowl of rice; Al Qaeda has infiltrated Burkina Faso and threatens to extend its jihad across the region; Colombian drug gangs have overrun Guinea-Bissau; and Christian and Muslim fanatics battle for African souls, preparing their converts for Armageddon. In The Ringtone and the Drum, Mark Weston dives into this maelstrom. In an often-unsettling adventure, he travels around the three countries and immerses himself in local life. Combining the remarkable stories of those he meets with his deep knowledge of Africa's development, the book sheds new light on a neglected but increasingly important corner of the globe.
