· We still have some spots for quarter, half and whole beef with late winter (approx Feb-March delivery) dates available. We are also taking deposits for whole and half lambs for delivery in approx January. These, along with most other items we sell, have had a price increase this summer. All of our prices are listed on our website (www.laufamilyfarm.com).
· We have a good supply of lamb kabob and lamb stew cubes. The stew is $10 per lb and the kabob is $12 per lb.

Things are remaining hectic here, and it is becoming clear that I need to learn some stress management methods sooner than later. My go, go, go then crash with a severe headache or something that makes me stop for a few days method, leaves some things to be desired. There is a lot of extra work to be done, with short deadlines and very high stakes, and I’m struggling to get things done, and maintain some form of balance. My Dad has spent a tremendous amount of time helping us to sort things out, but there is still a mountain to do ASAP.
We finally have all of Mrs P’s grain cut and delivered to the elevator, and all of the hay picked up from her place. Between baling too dry, and the neighbors cattle working on the bales, there are a lot of broken bales in piles there and here in our hay yard. John is getting things sorted out at the farm, slowly but surely.
The kids are safely returned from their trip back east with Aunt Sarah’s family. They had a great time seeing the sights. It’s certainly quite a change from SE Idaho and Soda Springs in particular.
Many thanks for your business, and your thoughts and prayers,
