Group for Latina Girls
This 8 week series of work-shops will help Latina girls embrace their culture and take pride in who they are. They will learn how to make good decisions when challenged by peer pressure and media influences (tv, radio, magazines, internet). We will talk about strengthening healthy rela-tionships and how to deal with feelings. Fun-filled activities will enhance skills in stress management, problem solving and com-munication to reinforce Latina girls’ strengths.
The Group will meet Mondays 4:30pm to 6pm

Taller para Niñas Latinas
Esta serie de talleres de 8 semanas para niñas Latinas entre las edades de 7 a 10 años, se enfocará en reforzar valores culturales y la autoestima. Las niñas aprenderán a tomar buenas decisiones ante las presiones sociales y los medios de comunicación.
Hablaremos también acerca de características de relaciones sanas y malsanas, comunicación efectiva, y cómo manejar los conflictos y las emociones.
iHaremos actividades divertidas para promover el apego entre las participantes del grupo y se proveerán refrigerios y bocadillos!
El grupo se reunirá los Lunes de 4:30pm a 6:00pm
