Hello everyone!

 

The Immigrant Women’s Peer Support Program (IWPSP) is excited to announce that we are about to begin the delivery of our Peer Support Group for Immigrant and Refugee Women facing difficulties adjusting to life in Canada. The group is open to Spanish speaking newcomer women who feel they need support in dealing with issues of adjustment and integration, or are just interested in getting out and meeting new friends. It’s a wonderful opportunity for newcomer women to break their isolation, develop a support network, learn more about Canadian culture and gather information about resources available in a comfortable and supportive environment!

 

 

Please note that this is a drop-in group and will start Thursday August 2^nd, 2012

 

Spanish Speaking Peer Support Group

Collingwood Neighbourhood House

(5288 Joyce Street, Vancouver)

Thursdays from 5pm to 7pm

Starting August 2^nd, 2012 to October 4^th, 2012

***Free On-site Child minding, snacks and bus tickets will be provided***
