I am using the following in the preamble:

\usepackage{natbib}
\bibliographystyle{plainnat}

Example of the output:

Harl E Ryder and Geoffrey M Heal. Optimum growth with intertemporally
dependent preferences. Review of Economic Studies, 40(1):1–33, January
1973. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

I would like to suppress the list of page numbers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8,
9, 10

Any ideas? many thanks,

I got help over at the Latex Community Forum, here's the answer:

In the hyperref options, set:

pagebackref=false, and the page numbers will disappear

pagebackref=true, and the page numbers will reappear
