Can anyone familiar with TeXnic Center tell me how to set the -shell-
escape option so that I can get the abcPlus package by Enrico Gregorio
to work?

I have MikTeX installed and working happily, and recently installed
the abcPlus package by Prof.Gregorio, following the instructions
included with the package.

Using the out-of-the-box Latex=>PDF profile, everything works fine,
with minor errors, generating two pages of output from the example
file, but where the musical notation is supposed to appear in the
output file it just contains a text box with the name of the music
(which is converted to a PS file by the package correctly).

The error requests that the -shell-escape option should be invoked by
the profile, or in the file itself - still learning, how do I do that
with TxC?

Thanks,

Myscha

I think -shell-escape works only in  linux OS and not in Windows OS.
