I heard that you could use TexShop to directly compile a latex
document with sagetex without going through the command line route
suggested by the sagetex instructions.

Can anyone help me how to do this?

I have tried the following so far without any success.

(1) I placed the sagetex.sty in /users/user/library/texmf/tex/latex/
folder.

(2) I placed the sagetex.py in the sage folder.

(3) I included the line
%!TEX TS-program = sage
at hte top of my latex document.
