Hi All,

I used /usepackage{fullpage} and downloaded the file from ctan site.
When I place the sty file in the directory where my LaTeX file is it
obviously compiles without errors, but I want to know in which
directory which LaTeX searches should I place this file.

Thanks,

Hamza.

Hi.

If you put it into /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/ and run texhash as root then you can use the package in all your system.

Bye

For MiKTeX, I use C:\texmf\tex\latex\NewDirectory\ where NewDirectory
is a directory you will create to put the style file in.

Also, you'll want to run MiKTeX Options and refresh File Name Database
under the General tab.
